Book and Art Supply Sale
From June 8th to June 10th NPCC held our third annual Book and Art Supply sale. Studio D was a treasurehouse of books, paints, pens, fabrics, canvasses, easels, and other donated supplies.
Thanks to our two intrepid set-up volunteers, Peg Drew and Angela Lynch, as well as the volunteers who manned the sales desk!

Garden Art Auction at Sherway Gardens
June 5th to June 20th, 2010
One of a kind!
2010 was another wonderful year for the Garden Art Auction with 28 adult sized chairs, 4 children's chairs, and 2 tables decorated uniquely to make gardens into a showcase for art!
Over the past six years, Sherway Gardens has donated $68,000.00 to support Neilson Park Creative Centre. In 2010, more than $9800 in bids were placed. What a great success! A huge thank you goes to Cadillac Fairview at Sherway Gardens for their ongoing community support.

Winter Artfest November 27 & 28, 2010 Winter Artfest features unique creations from the talented artists and artisans of Neilson Park Creative Centre and our community. At Winter Artfest, there are fibre artists and calligraphers, quilters, rugcrafters, weavers, woodcrafters, photographers, and painters in all media, as well as jewellery, pottery and seasonal decorations. To add to the enjoyment of the Artfest weekend there is a silent auction featuring fine art works and wearable crafts. Visitors enjoy the Gallery exhibits and relax in the Cafe for lunch, sweet treats, coffee and refreshing beverages. We are wheelchair accessible.

Family Day 2011
Monday, February 21 is Family Day. Please join us for loads of family art activities including weaving, painting, printmaking and rug crafting. Demos and hands-on from 10 am to 3 pm. Wear tropical clothes and we will greet you with a lei.
