WHICH OF OUR BEAUTIFUL STUDIOS IS RIGHT FOR YOU?

Studio B (40’ x 33’ or 999 sq. ft) is home to the Etobicoke Art Group. Like Studio A, it has a bank of north facing windows overlooking Neilson Park’s Sumach trees. All paints (no solvents) and other materials are permitted in Studio B. A favorite for printmakers, sculpturs and oil painters, it is also our most ‘well-loved’ (some might say ‘messiest’) studio. With a capacity of 50 people seated theatre style or 15 seated classroom style, and equipped with 15 stacking work tables, sinks and extensive counter space, Studio B is a great choice for a workshop or class.
![]() Studio C (48’ x 30’ or 1241 sq ft) is another big bright studio facing West with floor to ceiling windows on its West, North and South facing walls. Popular for business meetings and conferences, as well as larger birthday parties, this is designated as our ‘clean’ textile studio. It is home to The Etobicoke Quilters’ Guild, the Heritage Rugcrafters of Etobicoke, and the Etobicoke Handweavers and Spinners. As such chalk, paint, ink or glue are not allowed in this room. The maximum capacity of Studio C is 60 people seated theatre style and 30 seated classroom style. The studio comes equipped with 20 tables and chairs, blackboard, sinks and counter tops. Studio C is available for meetings, receptions, classes, and workshops. (photo above)
Studio D (27’ x 19’ or 513 sq ft) is the best choice for smaller workshops, meetings or birthday parties. The east facing wall of floor to ceiling windows looks out onto our gardens. This studio is used mainly for NPCC classes, Board meetings, and external rentals. It is also home to our ‘tea-room’ during events like Art in the Park and Quilt Fever. The maximum capacity of Studio D is 40 people seated theatre style or 12 seated classroom style. 8 – 10 artists can work comfortably in this space. All paints and materials are okay (no solvents). The studio comes equipped with 8 tables and chairs, blackboard, sink and counter workspace.
Kitchen
Shared use of kitchen facilities is included in all rentals. The kitchen is equipped with fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee maker.
Atrium
This lovely area with floor to ceiling windows overlooks a ravine and golf course and is beautiful throughout the seasons. The adjacent outdoor patio can be used on warm days. Exclusive use of the Atrium cannot be promised during opening hours, as this area is used as an eating area by staff, students and members and as a reception area for gallery openings and other special events. Renters are welcome, however, to share the use of the atrium.
Parking
Ample free parking is available.
Location
We are located at 56 Neilson Drive, just west of Hwy. 427 and north of Dundas St. West.
