June 17 to July 6, 2025

Location: Art Space Connect Gallery

Presented by: Philippine Artists Group

Reception: Saturday, June 21, from 1 pm to 4 pm

The Philippine Artists Group’s annual exhibition brings together members’ most recent art works and is a celebration of the best in contemporary Filipino-Canadian art.

Bintana ng Nakaraan, Pintuan ng Bukas is a collective reflection of their journey. It celebrates how artists of today honour the past while shaping the future—expressing their roots not only through traditional forms but also through new perspectives, modern techniques, and personal narratives. It becomes a bridge between generations, a conversation between memory and possibility, and a tribute to how art keeps culture alive—no matter where we are.

“Through every stroke of colour, I revisit the voices of my ancestors and carry them forward—not only for myself but for the next generation. Art is my way of remembering, honouring, and dreaming.”

— Noemi Manguera
