Presented by three of Neilson Park Creative Centre’s Resident Groups and funded by the Canada New Horizons for Seniors Grant 2024-2025.
We welcome seniors and the community to participate in a series of workshops centred around handweaving, quilting, rug hooking and more!
These workshops will be offered to participants at no cost, with each workshop focusing on a fine craft medium.
All workshop will be held at Neilson Park Creative Centre: 56 Neilson Drive, Toronto, ON M9C 1V7

MananQuil Art Exhibition
This massive once-in-a-lifetime art exhibition will showcase all available artworks by Romeo MananQuil from his own personal collections (some of which have not been seen publicly including a few very rare pieces from his Dark period), his family’s collections and those from his collectors and buyers. On exhibit in the Art Space Connect Gallery until September 22, 2024.
The opening reception is on Saturday, September 7 from 1:30 pm to 4 pm. All are welcome to attend.
White Oaks Group Fall 2024 Exhibition
The White Oaks Art Group is a community based, non-profit group, painting in different styles and mediums. They are celebrating 48 years together, exhibiting and selling their artwork.
On exhibit in the Parkview Gallery until September 22, 2024.
Yuqian Sun
Yuqian’s art practice is derived from her doll photography works, which she started practicing when she was a kid. She aims to capture the sublime aesthetics of ideal humanoid form worshipping in doll images she creates.
Yuqian’s adult’s watercolour course and children’s visual narrative course at NPCC will start this September.
On exhibit in the Emergence Gallery until October 13, 2024.
