I like to explore ideas of contradiction, possibility, and intensity through human or human-adjacent beings. In my mind there is no better way to explore these concepts then through humans who, by nature, are living contradictions rich with intensity and possibility.

For this piece I thought of the concept of a person who follows none of the average jurisdictions of identity. With each new face comes a different set of mannerisms, speech patterns, and awareness. In the end, it will always be the same being, leaving me to wonder what truly signifies one’s identity. Is the being only their true identity when they have no face, or is the being all of the faces and personalities at once? That is what I seek to convey though this artwork.
