Art is not in the tangible work I make but more so the feeling it creates. It is a universal language every single person can use to communicate a piece of themselves without talking. I don’t know what the finished product will look like, or if I will be proud of what I make, but what I do know is that with every painting, drawing, sketch, and thought that goes into the process of creating, I develop a better understanding of myself and how I perceive the world. My work shows parts of me that are both displayed and concealed, because I am putting a piece of myself into my art, whether it is intentional or not. I want people to think about what I create, and maybe even feel the emotions I felt when making it.
