Turning Point

Exhibition Duration: February 26 – March 18, 2018

Reception: Wednesday, February 28 from 7 – 9pm, RSVP on Facebook

Turning point features artwork by over 90 grade 11 students from the Contemporary Art and Contemporary Photography program at Etobicoke School of the Arts. Grade 11 at ESA is a critical year for students, filled with exploration and discovery. Students also delve into what they want to pursue artistically as they prepare for Portfolio Day, the large showcase for grade 12 students and applications for post-secondary institutions. Each artwork is self-selected by the student and highlights a turning point in their art practice.
Exhibition organized by Ethan Wilder with support from Matthew Varey and Glenn Novak
Reassembled Invites artists to submit artwork that was created with the process of reassembling. Artists should consider why the process is important to the message they want to communicate. Submission can be the following medium but not limited to: digital print, painting, photography, textile, sculpture and more. Only 25 entries will be accepted. Registration is available on a first come first serve basis.
