Part of our Culture Days 6-Pack Sampler: An Evening with NPCC’s Resident Groups.

Tonight workshop and demonstration will be hosted by instructors Cindy O’Malley and Gloria Williams from the Etobicoke Handweavers & Spinners Guild.

This 2 hour session, designed for knitters of all experience levels, will demonstrate and instruct on how to knit a button up cowl. Some of the techniques include how to do a crochet cast on, looped button-holes, and a reversible knit stitch pattern. Two styles will be presented and by the end of the session, participants will have the information needed to knit their own cowl.

During the first three weeks of October, participants will be able to learn about the different techniques practiced by our Resident Groups. Participants may or may not actively participate in the sessions. So come and see what our Resident Groups are all about at Neilson Park Creative Centre!
