My World in Colour
October 17 to November 6, 2022
Location: Founders Gallery
Presented by: Jacintha Krish
Jacintha will be exhibiting and selling an assortment of her vibrant landscape and floral paintings in the Founders Gallery.
Following a long career in business and accounting Jacintha now has the ultimate pleasure of being a full time artist and instructor. Painting has always been a part of her life, her constant companion – she says painting makes her whole.
She paints what she sees, what inspires her, what stirs her soul. Her style is loosely styled Impressionism, her palette is bold colour. The beauty of Canada is her inspiration, filled with the sights and sounds of its constantly changing landscapes as well as its people, imbued with the rich biodiversity that is wholly Canadian. Her primary works are landscapes, florals as well as figurative and abstract compositions. Currently her preferred mediums alternate between acrylics, watercolour and ink, charcoal and conte.
She enjoys playing an active role in our art world participating in solo and juried art exhibitions and events, teaching workshops and courses in and around the GTA and other parts of Ontario and Alberta. In addition to volunteering in many art related events she conducts art courses, workshops and painting demonstrations in several art schools in the GTA such as Neilson Park Creative Centre, Humber Valley Art Club, Oakville Art Society and Toronto Watercolour Society. Her out of town venues include Southampton Art Center, Niagara Pumphouse Art Centre, Lacombe Art Society Alberta, Strathcona Art Center Alberta and Quest Midland Art Center.
Jacintha’s work can be seen at many of these galleries.
Jacintha is a registered artist at Saatchi Art International and Artfinder.com. Her artwork is sold in Canada, USA, UK and South Asia.
