NPCC Summer Camper Scholarship Information & Form

Families with a combined household income of $45K or less are eligible to apply.

Our scholarship program is designed to enable families in need to provide an arts-focused camp experience for their child. Scholarships are available for a maximum of one week per child and are free of charge.

Spaces are limited and based on availability. Registration will be processed for your camper once scholarship is confirmed. Please note that camps fill up quickly and early application is advised.

• Number of scholarships available: 10
• Age Range: 5-14 years of age
• Deadline: June 7, 2024 at 11:59 a.m.
• When to submit application: now through the deadline date. Please note that camps fill up quickly and early application is advised.
• Cost: one week of camp free of charge (retail value of $295 + $40 for extended  morning care + $55 for extended afternoon care for a total retail value of $390)
• Application process: please fill out the questionnaire at the bottom of this form and email to: julia@neilsonparkcreativecentre.com or drop it off in person at the Centre, located at 56 Neilson Drive in Etobicoke’s Neilson Park.

DEADLINE
The deadline is June 7, 2024 at 11:59 a.m. Applications are reviewed and placements made on a first come, first-served basis. Parents/guardians will be contacted when the scholarship request is approved.

DATES AND TIMES
Summer camps begin on July 2 and end on August 30, 2024. Each camp runs Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. with the option for extended care. Please note that we observe the civic holidays on July 1 and August 5 when camp will run Tuesday through Friday. Morning and afternoon
extended care are available for all camps.

Newcomers who arrived in Canada as of February 1, 2017 to present are eligible to apply

Our scholarship program is designed to enable Newcomer families to provide an arts-focused camp experience for their child. Scholarships are available for a maximum of one week per child and free of charge. Newcomers who arrived in Canada as of February 1, 2016 to present may apply for a scholarship for their child.
Spaces are limited and based on availability. Registration will be processed for your camper once scholarship is confirmed. Please note that camps fill up quickly and early application is advised.
