Oil painting is a timeless, essential way of viewing and capturing the world around us. Using a fresh knowledge of how historic traditions of oil painting inform contemporary dialogues within the medium, participants will begin oil painting at an elevated level. Safe handling of materials will be instructed, including how to ensure adequate ventilation when using solvents.
