This class dives deeper into the elements of professional practice and is aimed at helping participants develop and expand on tools needed for having a professional career in the arts. In this course, participants will learn how artists proceed after acceptance to a residency, exhibition, or similar opportunity. Gain a feel for expertly curating your work in physical space as well as how to work within a residency experience, nationally and internationally. The class will contain some visits to exhibition sites, artists-in-residency, and on-ground research sites, the dates of which will be shared in advance. All levels welcome! Requests for recordings of online classes require 7 days of notice via email to the instructor.
