Join Lamis to discover the hidden gems of the Egyptian culture. This workshop explores traditions of Egyptian “khayameiya-making”, applied to the Torontonian landscape. Participants will be immersed in a 3-day investigation of a traditional aesthetic, including collage, textile and linocut, to produce a contemporary hybrid. Open discussions will be incorporated into each class by the instructor to provide participants with adequate resources to explore their creativity.
