This is a hands-on continuation of the “Khayamiya-Making” workshop offered in Spring of 2022, but all participants are welcome to learn more about this fascinating medium. Join khayamiya-maker Mostafa El-Lathy and Lamis to learn about this traditional Egyptian appliqué craft that was first associated with tent-making and later transitioned into more ornamental and interior décor wall pieces. Participants will learn about the history and techniques associated with the craft.
