I am a beginner, starting my journey into painting this past winter. My painting was created during NPCC’s Woodland Art workshop led by Indigenous artist and Young Spiritual Elder Philip Cote. In Anishinaabe wisdom, the Thunderbird is referred to as “the hands of the creator”. A source of healing.
