Studio & Meeting Spaces
Neilson Park Creative Centre offers four sunny studio and gallery spaces for your class, workshop, meeting, or special events. Our Art Space Connect Gallery is available to rent for your events and holds up to 200 people. Our facility is top of the line for artistic endeavours and a unique and inspiring space for all!
Our centre is nestled in Neilson Park’s beautiful green fields, forested walkways and playgrounds and is a few minutes from major highways and walk from public transit.
Rentals include set up and takedown of tables and chairs as well as shared use of kitchen facilities and the atrium area. Audio visual equipment is available for rent.
Our facility has free Wi-Fi, ample free parking and is fully accessible.

Studio A is the largest of our four studio spaces at 2040 square feet. This studio features large north facing windows and has a bright welcoming feel. The studio is equipped with counter space, sinks and chalkboard. It has a capacity to hold 100 people seated theatre style or 40 people in class room style.
This versatile studio can also be divided into two smaller studios. Studio A1 has a capacity of 80 people seated theatre style and 22 seated classroom style. Studio A2 has a capacity of 60 seated theatre style and 18 seated classroom style.
This studio is suitable for art classes or workshops, lectures, meetings, parties, classroom visits, family reunions. The only limit is your imagination!
Studio B has a capacity of 50 people seated theatre style or 15 seated classroom style. It is 999 square feet.
Its north facing windows overlook Neilson Park’s colourful sumach trees and ravine area. This working artists’ studio is equipped with tables, sinks and extensive counter space.
Studio B is a great choice for workshops and classes.
Studio C is popular for meetings, conferences and parties. It has beautiful green views from its west, north and south facing windows.
Studio C is designated as our ‘clean’ textile studio and is suitable for classes and workshops using dry materials. It has a capacity of 60 people seated theatre style and 30 seated classroom style. It is our second largest studio at 1241 square feet.
The studio comes equipped with tables, chairs, blackboard, sinks and counter tops.
Studio D’s windows faces east and over looks our perennial garden. It has a capacity of 12 seated class room styled or 40 seated theatre styled and is best suited for smaller workshops, meetings or birthday parties. This studio is 513 square feet.
The studio comes equipped with tables and chairs, blackboard, sink and counter workspace.
The atrium is a lovely common area that has floor to ceiling windows overlooking green space and a golf course. It is a beautiful spot to enjoy the seasons.
Take a break and enjoy a snack with your fellow creators.
Neilson Park Creative Centre has four unique gallery spaces for artists to exhibit their artwork, connect with other creatives and celebrate their art.
Individual artists, artist collectives, independent curators and other organizations are all welcome to apply to exhibit in our galleries. Exhibitions run for a duration of three weeks. We welcome artworks of all mediums.
All exhibitions are free to view to members of the public.
Art Space Connect Gallery
Art Space Connect Gallery is the largest exhibition space in the centre of Neilson Park Creative Centre.
It is a bright and spacious gallery with a 20 foot ceiling and adjustable spot lighting. It has over 130 running feet of wall space in a 1600 square foot facility. Pedestals and moveable walls are available upon request.
This is an ideal gallery space for exhibitions of two and three dimensional visual artworks of all mediums.
The Parkview Gallery runs from the entrance to the atrium at NPCC.
This gallery space accommodates exhibitions of two dimensional artworks and smaller three dimensional artworks. It has a generous 86 running feet of wall space.
Our Founders Gallery is a display space for the exhibition of smaller artworks and crafts.
It is situated in a high-traffic areas and always a popular viewing area with the public.
Our Emergence Gallery showcases the work of artists who are in the early stages of their career with a small exhibition history or who are under the age of 30.
Emerging artists may apply to showcase their work in a professional setting and gain exposure in the local arts community. Accepted artists exhibit free of charge.
