The Messenger
This piece was made for a Toronto public exhibition during my illustration program last year. unfortunately, the exhibition was scheduled just about a week after the Covid pandemic reached Canada. We were all unprepared, and as a result, the piece was never released for public viewing until now. It is about a war messenger escaping the aftermath of a bloody battle, full of shame but bound by duty, he raises the white flag signifying their defeat. |
Waves
One of my recent digital pieces meant to help me solidify a specific style for children’s book illustration.
It was inspired by a short comic strip for a student project I had about discovery and triggering one’s passion.
