Black History Month: Poetry Slam
Our first ever Black History Month poetry slam is taking place on February 9th from 7pm to 9pm!🎤
We’re incredibly excited to open this space for Black artists to share their truths and to celebrate the art of spoken word.Â
8 poets will compete in one round with the five highest scores competing in a final second round for a grand prize of $500. Second place wins $150 and third place wins $75.

Our feature poet that night, who will be performing a set of incredible poetry at the mid-point of the competition is none other than Shahaddah Jack!
