The Neilson Park Creative Festival features outdoor art and fine craft vendors, live music, a plein-air competition, food and drink with free parking on-site on July 15 at 10: 00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Juliana and Tawni will create a masterpiece that you can wear all day long! Simply bring the kids to Studio A between 10:00 a.m. – 11: 00 a.m. Free of charge.
Friendship Bracelets Inside the Centre – 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
This workshop is for youth, ages 5-14. Drop off the kids inside the Centre while you shop and enjoy Neilson Park and its surroundings. Kids will make cool friendship bracelets with teachers Juliana and Tawni. Registration is required, the cost is $5.00 (no HST). Register here.

Wild for Watercolour! Inside the Centre – 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This workshop is for youth, ages 5-14. Drop off the kids inside the Centre while you shop and enjoy Neilson Park and its surroundings. Kids will learn how to paint with watercolours and bring home their masterpiece! Registration is required, the cost is $5.00 (no HST). Register here.
Live Music Performances – 10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. / Headliner 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Rock out and have a blast with Kidz Rock and adult bands from the Music Studio from 10:00 am to 1:30 p.m. and join us at 2:00 p.m. for headliners “Imposter SINdrome”
Grab a beer, relax, sit back and join The Sindrome live at the Neilson Park Creative Festival in Etobicoke on July 15th. When they hit the stage, prepare yourself for a raucous time of singing and dancing to the sounds of burnin’ guitar licks, drum kicks and a harmonica that’s hotter than a hell-raiser’s fever.

Plein-air Painting Competition – 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
This art competition is a take on the French phrase, En Plein Air which describes the process of painting a landscape outdoors. Artists may work in a location of their choice: in the woods, with the vendors or musicians – anywhere out-of-doors in Neilson Park.

Competition Categories and Entry Fee
There are two competition categories:
- Youth, 13 – 18 years of age, free of charge to enter
- Adults, 18+, $5.00 entry fee
Awards
Youth category: First, $150; Second, $100; Third, $50
Adult category: First, $250; Second, $200; Third, $100
