About Our Juror
Jonah Strub is a Toronto based, gay, Jewish sculptor, painter, and ceramicist. Jonah graduated with a BA in Studio Art from the University of Guelph in 2019. His artwork is a visual love letter to the aesthetics of camp, kitsch, musical theatre, Yiddish humour, and drag. His practice centers around the ideas of gender expression and visibility, specifically with his relationship to his own femininity. He uses his drag alter ego, Loxanne Creamcheese, to embody the power of a fruity, vivacious, unapologetic existence.
Wearable Art Fashion Show: Off The Wall
7:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Closing out our Pride event will be a juried fashion show featuring original designs from talented post-secondary students and an open community fashion show where all attendees can put together their own outfits and strut their stuff!
