January 9 to January 27, 2024

Location: Parkview Gallery

Presented by: George Menzel and Ursula Menzel

Reception:
Sunday, January 14, 2024, 2 pm to 4 pm

As a tribute from her family, we are showcasing this retrospective look of Eileen’s works of art. It traces her artistic evolution through common themes and repeating motifs, from a schoolgirl’s juvenile drawings in Long Eaton, UK, through her repeating motif of “Borders”, to her last mixed-media works a few years ago.

Eileen is an award winning mixed media artist who exhibited at NPCC and many public and private galleries in Ontario. She also convened and adjudicated juried exhibitions in the GTA and Southern Ontario. She taught art for 30 years at Humberside Collegiate, and for several years was head of the art department. She has been a member of the Ontario Society of Artists since 2009 and is a life member of The Etobicoke Art Group, where she was the groups Exhibition Chair for many years.

She currently resides in the Memory Unit of the Milton Seasons Retirement home.
