The Grade 11 ESA Contemporary Art and Photography classes present Adhesive – an exhibition including work by more than seventy artists. Adhesive is an opportunity to celebrate our tight knit community. More than just a show, it is an inclusive discussion of new ideas.

After traversing a turbulent few years, the grade eleven class has grown stronger than ever, with our experiences bringing us closer, and our art growing along with us. It is essential for us to showcase our work together because it brings context to our creations. Art isn’t an individual activity, it builds off of its surroundings and our exhibition demonstrates that perfectly.

Adhesive is the culmination of the work done by one of the most successful grade 10 ESA classes to date, and although themes differ from piece to piece, what unites this show is our commitment to community. Passing through the gallery, we encourage you to consider the many connections running through our work. What holds people together? How do communities like ours form? And most importantly, what can we build off our understanding of each other?

Thank you for your support.
