The Etobicoke Rugcrafters, The Hook and I exhibition is their annual display of artworks. In the exhibition there is a variety of rughooking styles and the wide ranging use of colour and textures in the hooked pieces.
The Etobicoke Rugcrafters practise, promote and share the techniques of traditional and contemporary rug hooking in a congenial group setting.
Their membership represents all levels of skill from novice to expert. During regular meetings at Neilson Park Creative Centre, members work on projects of choice using various hooking syles: primitive, fine shading, oriental, pictorial, etc.
Meetings are an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and information, and to be inspired!
