Painting in multiples offers opportunities to expand on visual and conceptual ideas. Communicate a broader sequential narrative or movement, or change/challenge a spatial relationship. Allow for increased dialogue with negative space use, rhythm, scale, proportion, weight of colour, transition of ideas and more. Take the opportunity to learn to work and exhibit in a larger format by making modular pieces that can fit together or relate. Take yourself in a new direction this season!
