A deeper look at the some of the most revered artists in the genre of contemporary realism. Students are exposed to formal techniques in composition with emphasis on balance, proportion, perspective, line, shading, colour and texture. Smaller projects in still life and portraiture will allow for growth and experimentation. All materials are included. Groups enjoy lunch recess and breaks outdoors at Neilson Park!
Projects may include: Mixed media portraits, decoupage, acrylic still life – Flemish florals, watercolour – Landscape and portrait, sculpt – rubber stamp making or linocut art, Moths, pastel drawing, pencil drawing of hands, feet and facial features of a variety of type and more!
