Light is a powerful element of expression in art. Light is a memory, a moment, a state of mind, it’s how we see beauty and experience wonder. Become a globe-trotting art enthusiast and bring your inspirations to light in your own works. Have fun with colour, intensity and negative space. Create inspired projects in a variety of mediums that consider the natural environment and urban vibrancy. Learn about light source to develop drawing skills in still life and portraiture! Light describes or punctuates. Light is an idea! Light is calm, chaos, clarity and confusion. Make it the way YOU see it. All materials are included. Children enjoy lunch recess and breaks outdoors at the Neilson Park playground!
Projects may include: Vibration, colour proportion and volume projects for balanced composition, single and multi-point perspective art, light source still life pastel art, light source portrait drawing, graphic art light source portraits, reflected image or fractured image mirror art i.e. coloured glass bottles, and more!
