Light is a powerful element of expression in art. Light is a memory, a moment, a state of mind, it’s how we see beauty and experience wonder. Become a globe-trotting art enthusiast and bring your inspirations to light in your own works. Have fun with colour, intensity and negative space. Create inspired projects in a variety of mediums that consider the natural environment and urban vibrancy. Learn about light source to develop drawing skills in still life and portraiture! Light describes or punctuates. Light is an idea! Light is calm, chaos, clarity and confusion. Make it the way YOU see it. All materials are included. Children enjoy lunch recess and breaks outdoors at the Neilson Park playground!

Projects may include: Neon acrylic – Your name is Japanese katakana, mixed media landscape art, street scene and confetti art, anime style art, cyborg art, ramen bowl sculpt, New York scene artist inspired art, and more!
