Learn a number of mending techniques to repair and even elevate your wardrobe! Participants are invited to bring their knitted or woven (non-stretchy) garments in need of mending (or just decorating). Learn to mend holes, create attractive patches and use decorative stitching techniques to cover blemishes. Julia Lee is a dyer, spinner, knitter, teacher, mender, and weaver who lives and works in Toronto and Haliburton. She is the Founder of Provenance Yarns and Textiles and is an active member of many fibre arts and education organizations. For a materials list, please check our website.
