Adults are invited to join in this free workshop in celebration of Indigenous History Month. Anishinaabe artist Mark Seabrook of Twin Ravens Art will lead an in person Woodland Style art making session allowing participants to learn about Indigenous culture and Anishinaabe traditional teachings and stories from Manitoulin Island! Participants will learn to draw then paint their piece while experiencing an enriching and educational presentation about the significance of symbols, colours and wildlife in other Anishinaabe works. Adults can choose from a variety of images to learn about and paint, all of which can be credited to the great Norval Morrisseau, founder of the Anishinaabe Woodland Style.
