Over the past many years, Sculptor and Instructor Sandy Cline has showcased his work in almost every country in the world. His soapstone sculptures have been gifted as awards and tokens of recognition for significant international-level achievements in Canadian sports and philanthropy. From long teaching stints at many art schools to exhibitions in Japan and France, SandyÂ’s art and method has influenced many artists. Take this wonderful two-day workshop opportunity to learn to carve soapstone with Sandy at NPCC to learn from the best. The first stone is complementary, and materials are provided for use during the class. Participants will be able to carve a variety of animal shapes and can select from some pre-cut stone sizes. For the second class, participants can pre order stone form the instructor after learning the basics and planning their next project with plenty of support and guidance.
