NPCC Gallery Nagallo Rose 2017

Rose Marie Nagallo

Exhibition Duration: November 13 – December 3, 2017

Rose Marie was born and raised in the Philippines. She is a Chemical Engineering graduate with an MBA degree. She lived in other Asian countries such as Hong Kong, Thailand and Indonesia prior to migrating to Canada with her family. She is a full-time licensed insurance broker.

Her cultural immersion in the countries where she had resided and her global travel experience in the countries where she had visited have continually inspired her to put her thoughts and emotions on canvas: portraits, landscapes and still life. She is one of the newest members of the Philippine Artist Group of Canada.

Margaret O'Flanagan- Byerley

Exhibition Duration: December 2 – December 22, 2017

Marg likes to think of art as visiting a huge toy store. There are so many wonderful toys to choose from and to play with. Hence, in her twenty-year career as an artist, she has chosen many artistic toys to play with; watercolour, acrylic, mixed media, digital art, transfers, collage, abstract and realistic painting and now, printmaking. Printmaking can be silkscreen, collagraph, intaglio or fine point on metal. She has tried them all now so the fun begins as to how to integrate many of these art forms into works of art.

Here are some of Marg’s forays into the artistic toy store.
