Spaces in Between
Exhibition Duration: April 16 - May 6, 2018
Spaces In Between is a multimedia exhibition that showcases the artwork of emerging artists in the Greater Toronto Area. The exhibiting artwork creates alternative spaces and/or explores the passage of time through traditional and new media methods. Artists create visualizations of another world through creation or depiction. These spaces are derived from their memory, predictions of the future or their imagination.
As Neilson Park Creative Centre (NPCC) embraces our new vision and mandate for 2018, we aim to support the creative and personal growth of emerging artists. Exhibiting artists range from students, graduates or those who just transitioned into their creative practice. Whatever their journey may be, NPCC encourages their dedication to the arts through this exhibition and future ones to come.

Addae Nurse
Exhibition Duration: April 9 – May 13, 2018
With three confirmed exhibitions in his first month, including his debut for the Toronto Design Offsite Festival, Addae Nurse is already picking up lots of steam as an emerging Toronto artist. His body of work explores the nexus between femininity, sexuality, expression, and anonymity. Fascinated by shadow and movement, his images are intimate and often temperamental, juxtaposing the vastness of space with the details of the human form.
