This course will provide a fun way for teens ages 13+ to use a cell phone camera, iPad or digital camera to produce intriguing photographic fine art. Yes. Fine art. Regardless of the level of experience! So if your youngster is interested in photography, and is willing to learn how to get creative with an artistic tool that is ever present, then this is the course for them. This course is a series of hands-on creative classes meant to stretch the creativity and imagination of each child, develop a keen eye for detail, enhance fine motor skills and culminating in a student fine art exhibit they will be proud of. This course will emphasize a new way of seeing the world – looking at light, shadows, forms, patterns, lines and composition. Much of the class will be spent outside taking photos for the various class. projects, and at other times, doing photography indoors, adding special effects in camera as well as painting, sewing & collage assembly.

They will collect their own raw materials like leaves and flowers from the outdoors: which will be made into pulp to be used. By the end, these handmade papers will be transformed into beautiful stationery cards.
